How can I get a copy of your version of "Mr. Peacock"? I've been trying to track this one down for years!

Hello Jean! It must have been exciting to experience the Beach Boys before their careers took off. Thank you very much for sharing, and for your compliments.

Thanks for a wonderful concert last nite. I was raised in Hawthorne and was about 5 or 6 when I would go to the Wilson's house in the next block and watch the brothers practice. They were still doing School dances and small gigs at the time. Who knew. So thanks for the Memories and a wonderful concert.

Boy howdy, does seeing your website bring back lots of old memories from Harrah's Cabaret Days in the 70's. A bunch of us would travel to Reno or Tahoe to see Paul Revere and the Raiders, and OCS was one of the other bands we would listen to, while we were seeing PR&R. Glad to see that you are still out performing.....May you rock forever...: )

I toured with Orange Colored Sky in 1972-73 when Jimi Townsend was the 'other' drummer to Hal Little. It certainly was an education. Hope everyone is well.

Hello; I played keyboards with "Larry Younger and Sky" in 1980/81. I am remastering two live set of material performed by us at Harrah's at Lake Tahoe in 1981 for my archival purposes only. However, if some other members of the old band are interested, I'll pass along a copy.

I am an old fan of Orange Colored Sky. I used to see them whenever they came near Cincinnati, Ohio in the mid to late 70's. I was just glad to see anything at all about the band on the internet. We still love you here in Cincinnati and will never forget those great shows at the New Yorkshire Club, Maggies Opera House and more. The best never die! I'm sure you don't remember me, my name's Jim Ray and my former wife and myself were very devoted fans of OCS and in the mid to late 70's hardly ever missed a show when you were in the area. We saw you in Cincinnati, Dayton, Newport Kentucky and a couple of other places. Most often we saw you at the New Yorkshire Club in Newport.
I just dug out pictures I had taken of Hal, Larry, Walter etc in those good old days to show a buddy of mine what the "Orange Colored Sky" looked like. I was just sitting at the computer, did a search and found the web site. I couldn't believe my eyes.
I still remember "Classical Gas", "Higher and Higher", and all the rest. I still have a couple of old cassette tapes of those shows that I treasure- they were made on a portable recorder and the quality isn't great but hey, I can still listen to "The Sky".
Are there any other of the original performers still with the band? Where do you perform? Any chance at all you might ever show up back in Cincinnati? I still love my memories of "Orange Colored Sky"!

On behalf of the City of Temple City and, more importantly, the hundreds of concert enthusiasts, thank you for an outstanding performance! What could be better on a warm summer evening than exceptional entertainment in the park to bring the community together. Orange Colored Sky's enthusiasm and first-rate performance got the crowd up on their feet enjoying the familiar favorites of the Beach Boys and much more. The "Orange Colored Sky Band" was indeed a hit!
It was great to add your band to our concert series and hope that the band enjoyed the concert as much as we did. Again, thank you for your part in the success of Temple City's summer concert series. We would love to have you back next year and hope you will consider our request.

I caught OCS as the headline act in a place located across from Waikiki in HI on my way to/back from SEA in 1968 and as the front act at Merriweather Post Pavilion for Karen Carpenter in the late 60's or early 70's. OCS was great in both venues. Hope to see you perform when I am in CA.

Oh the good ol days at the Inner Circle in Cincinnati, week after week. People were rockin' on the table tops......I would love to turn back the hands of time and see the band, one more time, back in 1971.

Just a note to let you know how much my wife and I enjoyed your concert at Temple City last Wednesday. Of all the Concerts In The Park we've attended this summer, you guys are the greatest, Number One. Going to pull up your remaining schedule and hope we can see and hear you again this summer.

Longer than I care to remember I spent some wonderful musical moments with "The Sky". When they came to Cincinnati they owned the town for two weeks and no guy could get a date, all the girls were at the "Inner Circle". I got a job at the "Circle" as a waitress, saved money and got to see them for free! Some of the best music I ever remember hearing, followed them to Jacksonville, Fla. and even to Reno and Tahoe! To find them again has really been great! Judy OCS's #1 groupie!

I had the pleasure to visit many summer concerts in the park this summer; however I found that hearing the performance given on July 31,2003, Miller Park, Fontana,CA, was by far the best I've heard, thank you. I hope to hear you again soon.

Your entire group are the best. Without you our party would be a bust. The last four years have been wonderful and I would never consider anyone else for our annual party at the Biltmore Hotel. Thanks for making everything so easy and FUN! Have a wonderful holiday season and I'll be in touch next year. Elaine

You did it again ! Year after year you make our holiday dinner more fun. This year, we had people from other parties crashing ours because they said their band was not as good as ours. At the end of the night the dance floor was full. Half the people I knew, the other half, I didn't. Thank you and hope your success continues. Sanan Barbar Baker, Keener & Nahra, LLP

Oh my god, you guys made my 50th birthday party a PARTY! My husband insisted on hiring your band. I was a little skeptical at first of a band in my backyard for this rather small party - about 50 people. But he was so right. You read the group perfectly throughout the entire evening, playing exactly what was needed. I LOVE THIS BAND and would recommend you to anyone...wedding, birthday, graduation, etc. My 19 year old son's five friends danced the night away. They thought your were awesome! What a compliment to your talents, teenagers to 60 year olds liked the music. Thank you so much. Patti
